New Features
Quirks
Each animon has a unique ability now that can have different effects. You can read the description on their details page (Party -> Select an animon -> Details). Following quirks were added:
- Defensive: Whenever this animon gains shields, it gains 1 more.
- Fidgety: Whenever this animon gets swapped out, it gains 1 damage bonus.
- Fire Eater: Absorbs fire damage and heals instead.
- Hydrophobia: When hit with a water technique, it lowers the attacker's damage bonus by 1
- Instant Shield: When taking damage, immediatley gain 2 shield (can't go over max shields).
- Lucky: Gain an additional reroll while this animon is summoned.
- Scorching Body: Whenever this animon is attacked, the attacker suffers 1 damage.
- Water Soul: When hit with a water technique, increase water damage by 1
New Map Node: Arcade
Visit the arcade to enhance one of your animons, choose one of the following effects
- Increase max shield by 1
- increase max HP by 5
- gain 50 exp
Action History
At the top of the battle screen, you can now see a history of things that happened last turn. This way, you can keep track of where that additional damage came from if you missed it (e.g. burning damage). Not perfect yet, but a start
Status Conditions
Added status conditions that can be applied via techniques. These generate stacks of their condition on the target and those stacks count down after they triggered (more like in Wildfrost than in Pokémon games). Currently implemented are basic DOTs for each element:
- Burning
- Drowning
- Poisoned
New Content
Second Region
After defeating the first boss, Malyx, you can now enter region 2 which has a higher level and new animons (see below). Defeating the second boss (currently Malyx again), the game will crash because there is no region 3. I'll fix that for next time... oops!

- Alfamodon (Fire)
- Diredillo (Colorless)
- Qorryqa (Grass)
New Marbles
- rare and mythic versions of Cheap Bowl
- rare and mythic versions of Dictionary
- rare and mythic versions of Dull Knife
- rare and mythic version of Lucky Coin
- Hotter Flame (Common): Increase that heat. Enemies take +1 damage from burning!
- Potent Poison (Common): That mold does look ripe. Enemies take +1 damage from poison!
- XXL Bottle (Common): Fits more refreshing water. Enemies take +1 damage from drowning!
New Techniques
- Enkindle: Applies 2 burning
- Poison Spores: Applies 2 poison
- Water Sphere: Applies 2 drowning.
- Water Bomb: It's fun for kids unless it's as big as this one. Deals damage to ALL animon on the field
- Fuse Fire: Draws strength from nearby heat. Deals more damage the more Fire techniques the animon has
Bugfixes & Tweaks
- hotfix for HP not showing correctly for the next animon after the previous one was defeated
- refactored battle system to be less prone to bugs and false states
- several minor bug fixes
